ONLY AS STRONG AS OUR FOUNDATION

Roca’s headquarters is more than a building. It is the launching pad for everything that Roca has accomplished, and a touchstone for countless young people whose lives have been forever changed.

But in the 29 years since Roca’s flagship facility was opened at 101 Park Street in Chelsea, MA, the space has experienced the wear and tear of a beloved home to a very energetic family. Today, our oldest site is in dramatic need of a transformation on the scale of the changes being made by our young people. The funding required to complete renovations is $5.9 million.

With this fund, we will secure the Roca's future—in Chelsea and across the country—and show Greater Boston’s young people that they matter.

PROGRESS UPDATE: AUGUST 2024

In Chelsea, Roca has been stripped to the studs. Thanks to generous support from individual donors and the State of Massachusetts, renovations are underway and moving quickly at our flagship site.

Tag along with Joe, Director of Roca Chelsea, as he helps us envision a more beautiful, functional, and welcoming space for Greater Boston’s youth emerging as the walls go up.

IN MEMORY OF GREG TORRES

Roca would not be where it is today without the loyal and generous support of Greg Torres and Betsy Pattullo. Both individually and together, Greg and Betsy have made an enormous impact on countless people, communities and organizations in the Boston area and beyond—in the private, political, public and non-profit sectors.

For more than 25 years, Greg Torres served as a strategic advisor, generous donor, and dedicated friend to Roca and the young people we are privileged to know and serve. As a criminal justice reformer, he committed his life to helping others overcome their most difficult challenges and find opportunity.
